Cassandra Carpino is a graduate of Performing Dance Arts. Cassandra began dancing at the age of three and pursued training in the styles; Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Modern (Limon and Graham technique), and Contemporary. Over the years she has trained with various influential teachers/choreographers, and not only developed a passion for dance but teaching as well.
Cassandra is a graduate from St Michael’s Catholic Secondary School with an Arts Advantage certificate in dance; she was the recipient of the Dance award and received a scholarship. She also had the opportunity to choreograph the competitive Hip Hop team at her high school for three years. Her passion in dance encouraged her to further study dance in post secondary school; Cassandra is currently attending York University, working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in choreography and performance. She is also minoring in Kinesiology applying that knowledge to the dancing body and how to maintain; health, fitness, nutrition, and prevent injury as a dancer. Her other interests include hot yoga, working out and taking dance classes to uphold an athletic life style and further expand her dance vocabulary.
