Kristen Conte has been dancing since the age of four and competitively since the age of 8. She has trained extensively at Performing Dance Arts in a variety of genres including Jazz, Tap, Ballet (Vaganova), Pointe, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Acrobatics. Kristen has also trained with a professional Tap Ensemble, Toronto Rhythm Initiative and has performed in various professional shows along side respected tap artists such as Ryan Foley, Allison Toffan, David Cox and many more. Throughout the years, Kristen has had the opportunity to train with many established teachers and choreographers across Canada and the United States and has won various awards and scholarships.
She is working towards her A.D.A.P.T dance teacher certification. She is a St. Elizabeth Regional Arts Dance Program honours graduate and is the recipient of the student award of excellence of her graduating dance class. She is currently studying Early Childhood Studies at Ryerson University and plans to attend Teacher’s College.
Kristen’s enthusiasm, passion for dance and love of teaching will make it an enjoyable experience for all of her students.
