Toronto, Canada (PRWEB), July 28, 2014, – Performing Dance Arts (www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto’s leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is pleased to announce that former So You Think You Can Dance winner Nick Lazarrini will be visiting the dance studio in Vaughan as a guest choreographer, leading the dance lessons on August 13-15.
“How great it is for us to have another prominent dancer coming to choreograph at our dance studio in Vaughan,” says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. “Nick Lazarrini is considered one of the best dancers and dance instructors out there, so we know how beneficial it will be for our dancers to learn from him.”
Lazarrini was the first person ever to win So You Think You Can Dance, a prize that carried $100,000 payout. He has been featured on the cover of dance magazines such as Dance Spirit and continues as a dance instructor, as well as being involved in many other projects.
Lazarrini is trained in many disciplines of dance, including hip-hop, jazz, and even ballet. Daychak hopes he will impress as much of his experience on the dancers as possible and will really push the dance students to the limits with his choreography.
“Dancer Bobby Newberry will also be a guest choreographer at Performing Dance Arts dance studio in Vaughan during the same period,” Daychak concludes. “All of us at Performing Dance Arts look forward to seeing our students improve thanks to lessons from these premier teachers.”
Performing Dance Arts has been providing a friendly and creative atmosphere for kids for over 26 years. Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, Performing Dance Arts’ 11,000-square-foot facility offers classes in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, and hip hop at recreational and competitive levels. Students receive quality instruction from Performing Dance Arts’ qualified dance educators with a dance teaching designation and/or dance arts degree.
