Performing Dance Arts is just over a month away from our year-end performances. It’s always an exciting time and a great opportunity for parents to witness what is the culmination of months of hard work put in by their children.

Two dates are scheduled for this event: Thursday, June 26th and Friday, June 27th, both at 7:00 p.m. Each show will have the same performances, so parents should feel free to purchase a ticket for either day. And it will be great if you stuck around for the entire show, even after your son or daughter has performed; just be sure to get them a ticket to reserve a seat.

All of our performers are so excited! For some parents, this will be their first time seeing their child perform, which is usually an emotional moment. Our dance instructors have been working hard to establish routines that are both fun and challenging and that best show off the talents of everyone involved. Be supportive, be energetic, and cheer your child on as they do their very best to put on a great show!

This year’s events will take place at the prestigious Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, which is an amazing cultural venue that curates exceptional artistic shows and events. Performing Dance Arts is proud to be associated with the Living Arts Centre and we thank them for allowing us to host our end-of-year performance at their location.

Throughout the year, our dancers participate and compete in a number of conventions and competitions. They train, travel, and are expected to behave in a disciplined manner at all times. We at Performing Dance Arts are so proud of the hard work that each and every dancer puts in and the growth that they show throughout the season. Learning and remembering routines, then performing those routines on stage in front of a crowd is not an easy thing to do, but our dancers make it look easy and really push themselves to be the best they can.

The end-of-year performance is not a competition, but an opportunity for the dancers to show off what they’ve learned throughout the year. And while they do prepare quite extensively for this event, it is meant to be a fun evening for both parents and performers alike.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, May 15th and are available in person or online at www.livingartscentre.ca/. We can’t wait to see you all there!
