Toronto, Canada (PRWEB), April 24, 2014 – Performing Dance Arts (www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto’s leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is pleased to announce that it is attending the 2014 Regional Hall of Fame Dance Challenge in Detroit, Michigan on April 26–27.
“We are really excited to be attending the regional Hall of Fame Dance Challenge in Detroit this weekend,” says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. “The regional competition is important because it determines which of our dancers qualify for the national competition, which we will be attending in Las Vegas in July.”
One of the most prestigious amateur dance competitions in the United States, the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge hosts four national competitions and features dozens of regional competitions. In addition to promoting a challenging, creative atmosphere, the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge is also a great platform for dancers to perform, while gaining experience and exposure.
”Whether it’s at the regional or national level, the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge is always brimming with talent,” Daychak explains. “On top of that, each competition features a strong panel of professional judges who observe, score, and comment on each dancer’s technique, stage presence, choreography, and costume.”
“Our dance students love attending the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge because they know they are competing with the best. Not only is it a friendly, encouraging atmosphere, it also encourages our dancers to work harder,” she concludes. “We look forward to the Detroit regional competition and know it is the perfect avenue for our talented dancers to expand their competitive opportunities and express their artistic vision and achievements.”
Performing Dance Arts has been providing a friendly and creative atmosphere for kids for over 26 years. Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, Performing Dance Arts’ 11,000-square-foot facility offers classes in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, and hip hop at recreational and competitive levels. Students receive quality instruction from Performing Dance Arts’ qualified dance educators with a dance teaching designation and/or dance arts degree.
