Toronto, Canada (PRWEB), May 23, 2014 – Performing Dance Arts (www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto’s leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is announcing that pre-registration for its 2014–2015 dance season will take place from June 3 to June 7.
“Once again, Performing Dance Arts is pleased to announce that aspiring young dancers from across the Greater Toronto Area will have the unique opportunity to pre-register for our 2014–2015 dance season from Tuesday, June 3 to Saturday, June 7,” says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. “Our pre-registration hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.”
Daychak encourages everyone interested in the exciting world of dance to take advantage of the pre-registration. Some of the benefits of registering early for the 2014–2015 dance season include first pick of the desired classes, no registration fees, the same class price as the 2013–2014 season, and special family discounts.
“With classes taught by world-renowned dance instructors, Performing Dance Arts is one of the few studios in Canada where all the dance teachers have their teaching certificates,” Daychak adds. “Our high-energy, fun dance classes are designed to develop strength, coordination, and rhythmic awareness and the instructors also ensure that every dancer is challenged and has the opportunity to reach their personal potential.”
Daychak explains that Performing Dance Arts offers three different dance programs: Recreational, Part-Time Competitive, and Full-Time Competitive. The Recreational Program, which refers to any form of dance done for pure enjoyment and not preparation for a professional performance or teaching career, includes the Dance-in-Your-Pants, Pre-Dance, and Dance classes. Recreational classes are divided by age and ability and dancers may take one class or several. The program is available to boys and girls 2 1/2 years or older.
“Dancers that pre-register for the Part-Time Competitive program will train in jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet and an open class,” she notes. “The Part-Time Competitive program will only compete at local competitions and students will not be required to attend any U.S. or national competitions.”
Daychak adds that those selected for the more intensive Full-Time Competitive program study several dance styles, including acro, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and tap. Dancers in the Full-Time Competitive program typically attend two local competitions and one out-of-town, in New York or Michigan.
“Our teachers are experienced and professional and have been chosen not only for their knowledge of dance, but also because of their passion, creativity, and patience within the classroom,” Daychak concludes. Anyone interested in more information on pre-registration for Performing Dance Arts’ 2014–2015 season is encouraged to call 905-856-1030 or visit the studios at 331 Cityview Boulevard, Unit #2, in Vaughan.
Performing Dance Arts has been providing a friendly and creative atmosphere for kids for over 26 years. Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, Performing Dance Arts’ 11,000-square-foot facility offers classes in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, and hip hop in recreational and competitive levels. Students receive quality instruction from Performing Dance Arts’ qualified dance educators with a dance teaching designation and/or dance arts degree.
